Music 4 in 2006
Just in from Sandy Beech at Music 4.
In addition to our already stunning music studios just outside Chelmsford, Music 4 are delighted to announce the arrival of Music 4 Studios, a stunning post production facility at 41/42 Berners Street, London W1. In addition to being used as a mixing and post production suite for Music 4s custom music projects and V The Production Library, the studios are now available for hire as part of a first class, fully functioning post production facility. The facility is focused on super serving the post production needs of the music & broadcast industry including the post production of radio and television advertising through to radio edits, down the line (ISDN) interviews and more. We are operational immediately for audio post production projects (including ISDN links) with sound to picture capacity due to be added shortly. Our brand new studios are fully interior-designed to create a highly enjoyable and creative working environment and based around the very latest versions of Pro-Tools HD / Logic Audio & Final Cut Studio. The facility will be managed by Sarah Davis who has returned to Music 4 after a short time away working as a Studio Bookings Assistant with Wise Buddah and is joined by Music 4’s newest recruit, Rob Baker, who takes on the role of Facilities Assistant. A new full time studio engineer will be announced shortly. The Berners Street location also houses Music 4’s Head Office.
Music 4 has just finalised a new agreement with BBC Radio 1 to continue to be the main supplier of music imaging to ‘The Chris Moyles Show’ and the station in general for the next 18 months. A new package of beds and idents were created for Chris Moyles over Christmas and went to air early January. More exciting projects are planned for the coming weeks and months. Music 4 became the first ever UK music company to produce a station wide package for Radio 1 in 1998 and has been working with the station ever since.
Finally, Music 4 has created all the music imaging for the new ‘Christian O’ Connell Breakfast Show’ launching on Virgin Radio tomorrow morning (Jan 23rd) and shortly, we will be releasing the next CD from ‘V-The Production Library’ called V Places > In The Sun 1
We have had a very start in 2006 and all the signs are this will continue to be the case throughout the year. The Music 4 website will be updated as soon as we have a moment to work on it!
