New Site for Music4
Music4 have launched their brand new website! They now have all their 2007 packages online availble for download – BBC Radio 1 (Chris Moyles), Virgin Radio, Spin 103.8, BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, BBC Radio Devon, BBC Northern Ireland, Wave 105 and Radio City 96.7.
The site which has been built from scratch in-house here at Music 4 is now in continuous development and new features and improvements will added on a regular basis.
Although the main purpose of the site is for clients / potential clients to find out about our work, we have taken into account the many jingle collectors that visit the site as well. That’s why we have made nearly ten years of our work available online. We are in the process of digitising all our older DAT masters and as we do, we will try to upload individual tracks for each package to replace the old demos. We are also working on a VIP service to be added to the site shortly which I am sure will prove to be very popular with collectors.
As you can tell from the new site, we have of course been very busy during the first part of the year and that is set to continue with some exciting new projects just around the corner. As an example, a new package for 2FM in Ireland is due to hit the airwaves (and our site) after the bank holiday.
In other news, we have taken additional floor space at our Berners Street HQ and are about to build two additional studios. This marks an additional £500,000 investment into Music 4/Music 4 Studios.
Finally for now, we are increasing the size of our core team with the first new recruit joining us mid May. “Small Paul Rushforth” is joining the Music 4 team from GCAP in Bristol where he has been working on the GCAP network evening show (Music Control). Paul is very ‘musical’ and a wiz in the studio and following some hardcore training, will be working on the mixing and post production of our music imaging packages.
