A new sound for Real Radio is on the way

As we reported in February, Music 4 have been chosen to create the on-air imaging sound for GMG’s Real Radio Brand.

The new jingles will feature on existing ‘Real’ stations in Scotland, Yorkshire and Wales and on the re-named stations broadcasting across the northwest and northeast of England (currently Century Radio).

John Simons, Group Programme Director says: “We’ve always aired high quality jingles on Real Radio and to coincide in with the re-branding of Century to Real, we were looking for a change of style. Music 4 came up with some great ideas for us and we’re looking forward to getting our new jingles on air at the end of March across all five of our stations”

Real Radio is one of the strongest regional radio brands in the UK broadcasting to key markets and successfully reaching millions of listeners every week. Working with the team at GMG has been an absolute pleasure and we are certain the new jingles will help take these stations to their next stage of development and make sure their listeners know for certain that they are “listening to Real!”.

We’ve been working on the package for a around 6 weeks and we are just adding the finishing touches.

The jingles will be on-air at Real towards the end of March and audio examples will be available here at Music 4 once the package is live!
