Radio Prep Service Launched in Australia
ReelWorld has launched a revolutionary new show prep platform, PREPAIR, across Australia.
PREPAIR is a localised version of ReelWorld’s prep service, which is used by hundreds of radio stations across North America.
The new service is being used by the entire SCA radio group including the Hit Network and Triple M Localworks and allows producers, presenters and programmers to access and share up-to-the-minute trending content on air and across their networks.
The Australian-based PREPAIR content team work around the clock to provide localised content, adding to the constant International topical coverage provided by the U.S. based ReelWorld prep content team.
PREPAIR’s first content instalment of the day is ready and waiting online and in the PREPAIR customer’s inbox before the breakfast show arrives at the station, and continues its updates across the day.
ReelWorld Managing Director Anthony Gay said: “We’re thrilled to expand our already Industry-renowned prep service into Australia with the addition of PREPAIR. To share the power of our prep platform with SCA’s talented writing team truly makes for a dependable and relevant show prep service that talent can rely on.”
Dave Cameron, Head of National Content and Development at SCA is excited to join forces with ReelWorld “to create a critical show prep platform that provides show producers and talent right across the Australian and New Zealand Radio Industry with both international and domestic content and ideas including audio and video grabs. It’s a brilliant service that allows all shows to hit the ground running, everyday.”
In addition to providing content, PREPAIR allows talent to collaborate and share stories and station-specific content as well as plan and schedule shows in advance.
Alongside SCA the service has already been taken up by West Coast Radio, Redwave Media, Sunshine Coast Broadcasters, and Ace Radio.
PREPAIR is a must-have content resource for the Radio Industry, which is now available to all Metro and Regional radio groups across Australia and New Zealand who want to benefit from the platform and content.
Seattle-based ReelWorld, which also has studios at MediaCity in the UK, has been providing radio jingles and radio imaging to stations around the world for over 20 years. Their clients include Z100 New York, Heart UK, KIIS Los Angeles, BBC Radio 1Xtra and Kiss UK.
