Oman’s HI FM from S2Blue

S2Blue Imaging are pleased to announce their new custom package for Oman’s Hi FM.

Hi FM appointed S2blue to produce a new imaging package with the brief to make them stand out in the market – something fresh and contemporary, that would fit with the today’s music.

The custom package features S2blue’s ‘new sound’ of contemporary beat driven beds and fresh solo vocals, on this occasion provided by noted Manchester singer Denise Johnson, who has worked with artists such as Primal Scream, Ian Brown and Electronica.

Simon Prentice, Managing Director of S2blue commented:

“This was a great project to work on – we’d worked with Darren on the previous Hi FM package and we really wanted to create a new sound that really moved the imaging on for them.

I‘d wanted to use Denise as a featured soloist on a package for a while as I love her voice and she’s such a great vocalist – when the Hi FM package came up it seemed ideal.

We collaborated with composer Lee Turner on the main package with Maurice Cheetham composing the Big Breakfast Show cut – I’m really pleased with how the whole package sounds.”

Darren Barrett, Programme Manager of Hi FM said:

“When we wanted a new station sound, with a nice fresh sound, there was no question who to call. S2blue have been our partners in audio design for Hi FM since its conception, and I knew that a custom package was the way forward. Simon and Lee came up with an awesome new image for Hi FM that totally rocks!

We play a mixture of AC hits from pretty much every genre, and with the smallest of briefs, they created what I think is the best package we have had on air yet.

Would I recommend S2blue? Hell yeah, I have been working with the team for almost eight years on various projects, and I can say without any worry, that they are constant in their delivery, service and attention to detail.”
