Dawg FM chooses Studios Peak
On May 31st 2010, 101.9 Dawg FM, the new blues radio station from Ottawa, enlisted the services of Studios Peak to create a complete sound imaging package. It was with great enthusiasm and pride that Studios Peak’s participated in the launch of the first Canadian radio station with an exclusive blues rock format!
Studios Peak was selected to develop the jingles with original music to achieve the target branding and ambiance desired for the Dawg FM image. Peak’s Composer’s expertise and involvement with blue artists such as Dawn Tyler Watson and harmonica player Rick L. Since the inception of the new station, the Dawg FM sound has rocked the Nation’s Capital, invigorating it with an edgy blues rock flavor!
Dawg FM offers a new musical selection for Ottawa’s unique market. The target market is adults aged between 25 and 54. The musical selection is comprised of the best of; Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jeff Healey, B.B. King, Ray Charles, Colin James, the Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison and more.
Established since 1999, Studios Peak has maintained a strong presence on the international scene thereby signing several sound imaging packages for various radio stations across the world. In 2007, Studios Peak expanded its media expertise and became part of the ‘Peak Banane Group’. Peak Banane incorporated ‘Jaune Banane HD’, which specializes in video post production and TV show development/production, thus allowing the Peak Banane Group provide its clientele with complete media solutions.
